Carla Ros presents “Fragments”: “I hope it brings you the nostalgia and emotion I wanted to put into it”
Her new schranz track is out today on SoundCloud. We talk to her about how it was born, her sound and a first year behind the decks with more than 100 shows.
Carla Ros releases “Fragments” today, a schranz track she has been shaping since her very first days in the studio. We took the chance to talk to her about how the track was born, how she reads a dancefloor and a first year behind the decks that even she did not see coming.
The track
What is the track called, and what can we expect from it in three words?
It’s called “Fragments”, and in three words I’d say nostalgia, emotion and memories.
How was it born?
It was born when I started producing, a year and a half ago. Back then schranz was what I identified with and listened to the most, so I set myself the goal of making a track with the little I knew about production, just to get comfortable. Since then I’ve kept making small changes and improving it until it became the track you can hear today.
How did you produce it?
With a lot of love, but above all from emotion, which is what brought out the melodies that define the track. I think anyone who listens to it will connect with a memory or a feeling.
This original follows “Bass & Pills” and your “Disturbia” remix. What has a year of producing taught you?
That production is a world where you never stop learning. It’s very complex, but if you do it with drive and motivation, it’s incredible.
Have you tested it in a club yet?
Not yet, but I can’t wait to.

Her sound
Hard but danceable hard techno. How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard you?
As an experience of pure energy where you can’t stop dancing and there’s never a dip.
What does a track need to make it into your sets?
It can never be monotonous. I like tracks that bring together different sounds, vocals and melodies.
Which artists have shaped you?
Overall, the one who has shaped me the most is Winson. His music and his stage presence inspire me a lot; I love his sets.
An experience of pure energy where you can’t stop dancing and there’s never a dip.

Her first year behind the decks
You debuted at Octogon in early 2025 and passed 100 shows within a year. What was a start like that like?
Honestly, I couldn’t believe what was happening. I went from stepping into a booth for the first time, despite how shy I felt facing the crowd, to playing every weekend in Madrid, not to mention my two dates in Germany and Switzerland. But I always wanted to keep my feet on the ground and remember that in this world everything comes in stages: I was lucky to be living a very good one, but that could change at any moment.
You have already played in Germany and Switzerland. How do those crowds differ from Madrid?
I’ve noticed that crowds abroad are much more aware of an artist’s work. They value it far more, and you feel like they’re studying you while you mix, but I loved seeing that much interest and how much they appreciated it.
A night you will never forget?
I’ll never forget my debut in Germany. Two hours in front of a crowd with so much musical culture, experience and judgement was something very special for me: people who know how to listen, who understand electronic music and who recognise all the work behind a set. But the most special part was the response that night, the comments afterwards and the messages I received later.

What comes next
What are your plans for the coming months?
To keep producing and making music. I hope a new period full of dates begins, where I can give it everything and share my music, but right now it’s very unpredictable, so I’m going to focus on my music and on getting a little better every day.
A message for anyone hearing “Fragments” for the first time today.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed crafting every detail of this track. I made it with a lot of love, and I hope it brings you the nostalgia, the memories and the emotion I wanted to put into it.
